BAMM/COC Task Force Reports - Structural Design, Ground Rules, History, Task Force Recommendations (1997)

This is the fourth of eight files that summarize the work involved in creating a new interfaith model of serving the Buffalo religious community with dates from 1995-2001. The new organization will be called The Network of Religious Communities which is the organizer of this entire collection on NY Heritage. This sub collection includes the work of the Structural Design Task Force and all the summary reports of all the committees. The charge of this committee was to study the reports of the preceding task forces and to develop a mission statement and design and structure for the new organization. There is a brief review of the history of the ecumenical and interfaith movement in Western New York, an examination of numerous models and structures, many discussions of the realities, concerns and issues regarding the creation of a combination interfaith and interfaith organization
