نبذة مختصرة : Some socio-environmental effects on the new generations in rural areas, specifically on rural youth, are addressed, recognizing the impacts of the implementation of an agro-industrial strategy named "Jalisco. Mexico's Agrifood Giant". Some state laws related to sustainable development, agribusiness, as well as children and youth, were reviewed, since a strategy of this type has consequences that will accumulate and be felt in the following generations. A local experience with rural children and youth is shown, from which questions arise about agribusiness in a community dedicated to corn monoculture. Documenting some effects of the use of pesticides on children and youth. It concludes with some reflections on the urgency of new ways of understanding environmental justice in its intergenerational dimension, to address the problems arising from the imposition of the global agrifood system. ; Se abordan algunos efectos socioambientales hacia las nuevas generaciones en el medio rural, en específico a las juventudes rurales, reconociendo los impactos de la implementación de una estrategia agroindustrial nombrada “Jalisco Gigante Agroalimentario de México”. Se revisaron algunas leyes estatales que están relacionadas con el desarrollo sustentable, la agroindustria, así como con la infancia y juventud, puesto que una estrategia de este tipo tiene consecuencias que se acumularán y sentirán en las siguientes generaciones. Se muestra una experiencia local con niñeces y jóvenes rurales de la que surgen cuestionamientos al agronegocio en una comunidad dedicada al monocultivo de maíz. Documentando algunos efectos del uso de plaguicidas en la infancia y juventud. Se concluye con algunas reflexiones sobre la urgencia de nuevas formas de comprender la justicia ambiental en su dimensión intergeneracional, para abordar las problemáticas derivadas de la imposición del sistema agroalimentario mundial.
