نبذة مختصرة : Technologies have reached an incalculable value in the productive processes of nations, being present in each of the processes that are developed for personal and national growth. Given their importance, it is necessary to create models that emphasize the mechanisms for their adequate use. Resources of any kind cannot be exploited without recognizing the implications this can bring to people's lives. Therefore, this study aims to propose a technological model for sustainable development and digital empowerment of bio-enterprises. A mixed methodology was assumed to process the information by interpreting the theories and postulates that experts have exposed as a result of years of research. Under the qualitative method, two groups were selected (one of bio-enterprise workers and university teachers with an environmentalist profile) to apply a survey referring to technological models and digital empowerment. The first group consisted of 123 subjects and the second of 10. The results showed that every technified productive model must have an economic, social, institutional and environmental vision, in addition to the technological knowledge and competencies of those who implement them. Likewise, it was evident that every productive model based on ICT must be based on epistemological, axiological and ontological foundations, in such a way that it adopts viable procedures that are in line with scientific knowledge, human values and the reason for the existence of individuals.
