Karajá Presence: : experiences and decolonial crisscrossing ; Presença Karajá: : experiências e entrecruzamentos decoloniais

This paper presents the decolonial intersections perceived from the participation in the research project 'Presença Karajá cultura material, tramas e trânsitos coloniais', originated at the Universidade Federal de Goiás in 2017; added to the contributions of the discipline ‘Critical interculturality, transdisciplinarity and decolonial methodologies’, by Prof. Elias Nazareno in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em História at UFG, in the second semester of 2020. Studies involving coloniality and decoloniality have been increasingly increasing, with the aim of denaturalize and overcoming the hegemonic Eurocentric perspective of the social, political, economic and cultural models that surround us. What appeared to be a project with the main objective of mapping, identifying and analyzing how collections of ritxòkò dolls are present in collections of national and international museums; promoted debates, reflections and sensitive developments based on the collaboration of indigenous and non-indigenous researchers, belonging to different countries and fields of of knowledge. This study analyzes this transdisciplinary experience as a decolonial practice, and is based on the bibliographic review on the theme, on the debates between the researchers involved, and on the developments that project new objectives and perspectives to the project.
