Implementación del proceso de soldadura mediante fricción con agitación (FSW) para aleaciones metálicas y plásticos de alta resistencia: análisis científico de las propiedades mecánicas resultantes

Ciencias en Ingeniería Mecánica ; This research focuses on the study of the improvement of mechanical properties, specifically the tensile strength of the 6061-T6 aluminum alloy that has been subjected to a friction stir welding process, through the joint application of a treatment thermally solubilized and another of aging pre and post welding, the material used was the aluminum alloy 6061-T6 with a 9.5 mm of thickness. Three case studies were evaluated, a) welding of the base material without heat treatment (Case B), b) heat treatment of solubilized and partial aging of the base material before welding (Case CA) and c) heat treatment of solubilized and aging of the base material after welding (Case CD). The results obtained show that the joint application of a thermal treatment of solubilized and partial aging to the base material before welding (Case CA), increases by 10% (20 MPa) the tensile strength compared to the results obtained in materials without any type of heat treatment (Case B), on the other hand for the case (Case CD) the resistance to tension obtained had an increase of 42% (128 MPa) compared to case B and was only 12 MPa below the tensile strength of the base material. Additionally this friction welding process was applied with agitation in two types of plastics, ABS and Polypropylene, obtaining with speeds of 950 rpm, 6 mm / min welding speed and the use of a conical tool, a union of the bad materials, however for a rotation speed of 800 rpm, 50 mm / min and a square pin tool, it was possible to obtain a good union in the polypropylene. ; Esta investigación se centra en el estudio del mejoramiento de las propiedades mecánicas, específicamente la resistencia a la tensión de la aleación de aluminio 6061-T6 que ha sido sometida a un proceso de soldadura por fricción con agitación, mediante la aplicación en conjunto de un tratamiento térmico de solubilizado y otro de envejecimiento pre y post soldadura, el material utilizado fue la aleación de aluminio 66061-T6 con ...
