      This article presents a proposal for reading the literary text adapted in comics and reflected on the dialogue relations that exists in it. Considering the communicative dynamics at which young people are in constant interaction, it is observed that theverb-visual text permeates the linguistic spheres in technological environments where the performance of teenagers is remarkable. Therefore, the Portuguese language teacher’s work with other languages, in addition to verbal, supports reading autonomyand contributes to the development of students’s writing. By this perspective, we will present a proposal to retextualize the book, Treasure Island, by Robert L. Stevenson, a comic adaptation of Andrew Harrar, 2010, developed by the sixth-grade students of the municipal school in the countryside of the state of São Paulo. The theoretical basis are based on the concepts of verb-visual text (BRAIT, 2015), concept text of Bakhtin (2011,2018). As a result, we will present students production that recover the source text and assume a critical and areflective point of view when retextualizing the story through the construction of meaning between the image and the balloons. ; Este artigo apresenta uma proposta de leitura do texto literário adaptado em quadrinhos e reflete sobre as relações dialógicas nele existentes. Levando em conta a dinâmica comunicativa com a qual os jovens estão em constante interação, observa-se que o texto verbo-visual permeia as esferas linguísticas nos meios tecnológicos onde a atuação dos adolescentes é marcante. Portanto, o trabalho do professor de Língua Portuguesa com outras linguagens, além da verbal, favorece a autonomia leitora e contribui para o desenvolvimento da escrita dos estudantes.
