International audience ; Twinship works in psychology accept the family’s interaction and his influence in theestablishment of differentiated and unique identity among each of the twins. However, these works have not considered fantasmatic aspects of these interactions and the role that they play in twin’s differentiation and individuation mental processes. Following main psychoana- lytic works on twinship and sibling link, we attempt to report on the way that parental si- bling’s experiences (in emotional, fantasmatic, conscious and unconscious dimensions) in- fluence children sibling’s experiences through their interactions, placing special interest in fantasmatic interactions. Thus, our main aim is to examine the mechanisms (at play) that af- fect within these interactions and to understand how they may explain twin’s individuation, establishment and differentiation. This approach provides an uncharted perspective about twins’ personalization abilities and the consequences of the interactions between children and parents. Our methodology uses a paradigm that distinguishes tools between tested genera- tions. In this way we conduct a semi-structured interview and a genogram with the twin’s pa- rents. For children’s generation, we suggest to do a family picture, another kind of genogram and a semi-structured interview. As we have just begun our analysis work on collected data of families that we met, we are not in position to communicate results but we will propose a cli- nic example from our research to illustrate our thoughts.
