      Acompanha produção técnica: Clima organizacional: um novo instrumento de avaliação para a UTFPR ; Educational institutions are organizations formed essentially by people. Its performance and provided services depend primarily on human beings. Therefore these people’s conditions, the reality of the work they perform, and their satisfaction or lack thereof are constituent factors of the work performed and the quality of the services provided. The study of organizational climate proves to be a relevant tool for the management of organizations, as it identifies needs to be worked at to improve the quality of institutions. That requires an organizational climate survey instrument that can meet the institution’s specificities and provide relevant information for its use in management. The main objective of this research is to propose an update of the instrument for evaluating the organizational climate at UTFPR. It is a descriptive, bibliographic, and documentary research, utilizing data available in literature and information collected through the Fala.BR platform from a sample of federal universities selected in a non-probabilistic way. For data analysis, Bardin’s thematic categorization, proposed for content analysis, was used as the basis. As a result, a new proposal for an organizational climate research instrument was built to be used at UTFPR. The final proposed instrument is composed of 68 questions to be answered on a Likert scale and two open questions. The closed questions are divided into eight categories: training and professional development; leadership behavior; institutional communication; infrastructure and working conditions; institutional management and planning; institutional image; interpersonal relationships and teamwork; and personal job satisfaction.
