نبذة مختصرة : The purpose of this project was to apply the acquired knowledge and skills of the student in the methodological practice of mathematics in learning macramé, using contextualization in order to awaken them to the world of work with a vision of personal and/or collective entrepreneurship, in addition to analyze the need to improve Mathematics concepts, procedures and languages based on the rules of the National Common Curricular Base, involving the themes units of measures, area and volume, rule of three applied to macramé, regarding the methodology, field research was used descriptive subsidized the quali-quanti approach. Considering the relevance of the subject for the development of high school students, the activities were divided into five moments, namely: application of a semi-structured test, discussion of the aforementioned concepts, teacher guidance on mathematical formulas for calculating the aforementioned contents, presentation From measuring instruments, such as a ruler, measuring tape, measuring tape, to making macramé pieces using the main geometric figures, as well as mathematical calculations as a reference, these activities were designed for students in the 1st year of high school.
