      Study aimed to reveal mathematics homework implementations in middle schools, kinds of parents’ involvement in homework and feedback given to homework. Study also attempted to investigate students’, mathematics teachers’, and parents’ difficulties in homework processes. Triangulation design, one of the mixed-method design, was employed in order to answer the research questions of the study. A total of 564 middle school students, 116 middle school teachers and 4 parents participated in the study. Data of the study collected during 2017-2018 Spring semester in Ankara. Questionnaires were administered to all students and teachers and one-to-one interviews were conducted with 4 teachers and 4 parents. Descriptive and content analysis was utilized in data analysis. Findings of the study showed that teachers believed the necessity of homework whereas parents were undecided about that. Teachers assigned homework at least once a week and students generally do not study mathematics except doing homework. Teachers mainly assigned homework for instructional purposes. They gave generally drill type and multiple choice questions as homework. They checked whether students do homework regularly; however, they did not prefer to give written feedback to the homework. Study also revealed that teachers and parents mainly communicated in parent meetings and parents mostly supported their students in doing homework. Students’ unwillingness of doing homework was the main problem for both teachers and parents.
