      Este artigo pretende discorrer sobre o pioneirismo do médico e antropólogo brasileiro Arthur Ramos de Araújo Pereira, na constituição de uma agenda antirracista, entre os anos 1926 e 1949. Foram utilizadas como fontes primárias de pesquisa trabalhos de Arthur Ramos, além de referenciais teóricos específicos. Pretende-se, com este estudo, contribuir para o aprofundamento de reflexões acerca das incipientes ações efetivadas por intelectuais brasileiros, no combate ao racismo no país. ; This article intends to discuss the pioneering spirit of the Brazilian physician and anthropologist Arthur Ramos de Araújo Pereira, in the constitution of an anti-racist agenda, between the years 1926 and 1949. Arthur Ramos works were used as primary sources of research, in addition to specific theoretical references.
