      Music is a tool that in education contributes directly to the improvement of the educational process, reaching levels that are favorable for the development of meaningful learning in students. The following study had as objective: to determine the use of music as a pedagogical resource for the development of significant learning in elementary school students of Circuit C01_B. Rocafuerte canton. The methodology used had a qualitative-quantitative approach, it was non-experimental and bibliographic, the analytical and deductive methods were applied, the information collection was carried out on experts and teachers through survey and interview techniques. The results show little use of music as a pedagogical resource in the classroom to strengthen the development of meaningful learning of students despite knowing the level of contribution that music provides in the classroom. It is concluded that music is a resource that, when well used in the classroom, significantly favors the development of students' abilities and skills and therefore promotes the achievement of the pedagogical objectives in the classroom pursued by teachers to achieve meaningful learning in their students. ; La música es una herramienta que en la educación aporta de manera directa en la mejora del proceso educativo alcanzando niveles que son favorables para el desarrollo del aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes. El siguiente estudio tuvo como objetivo: determinar el uso de la música como recurso pedagógico para el desarrollo de aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes de básica elemental del Circuito C01_B. cantón Rocafuerte. La metodología utilizada tuvo un enfoque de tipo cuali cuantitativo, fue no experimental y bibliográfica, se aplicaron los métodos, analítico y el deductivo, la recolección de información se realizó a expertos y docentes mediante las técnicas de encuestas y entrevistas.
