The research questions: how managers perceive the playfulness and what its importance in the production of knowledge and assurance of learning for children with high ability / giftedness. The research was conducted in a school of Early Childhood Education, located in Santa Maria and had as subject children of a group of early childhood education. The methodology used was the research participant, with comments in classes and educational meetings, analyzed based on the theoretical of the fields of knowledge playful and childlike. The analysis is built on the comparison between the current proposals for democratic management, present in the Pedagogical Project of the school and with the current legislation on education. Observed in the research that there was a change of educator’s attitude on the face of solutions built by students, since it began working with a playfulness to integration, because she felt the need to include this student to group because the lack of integration generated frustration and sadness for her, it was clearly perceived in the speech. ; O trabalho monográfico, de caráter qualitativo, tem por objetivo problematizar as possibilidades, as contradições e os benefícios da participação dos gestores na educação de crianças, como percebem a ludicidade e qual a sua importância na produção de conhecimento e garantia de aprendizagem com crianças com altas habilidades/superdotação.
