نبذة مختصرة : Syphilis in pregnant women is considered a major public health problem, requiring adequate diagnosis and treatment. The quality of prenatal care provided by nurses during pregnancy and childbirth is considered an important determinant of reducing syphilis transmission. The work has the general objective of describing the assistance, knowledge and practice of nurses to pregnant women with syphilis during prenatal care. This is a bibliographical review with a descriptive character and a qualitative approach, with analysis of scientific literature that refer us to the research object. We used complete articles published in Portuguese in the period 2018-2022 as criteria for selecting the literature. From this preliminary reading, 11 articles were selected that maintained coherence with the descriptors presented above and with the purpose of the study. The results were divided into 2 categories: challenges faced by nurses during prenatal care for pregnant women with syphilis; strategic plan to prevent and reduce the worsening or progression of syphilis cases during prenatal care. Therefore, it is essential that nurses fully dedicate themselves to caring for the pregnant woman during the prenatal period with regard to syphilis, including medication and awareness, informing her of the importance of starting treatment as soon as possible to avoid negative evolution. that syphilis can cause during pregnancy, clear all your doubts and talk with your partner, because if the partner is also a carrier of the disease, it can cause reinfection in the pregnant woman and make all the treatments given to her ineffective. ; La sífilis en mujeres embarazadas se considera un importante problema de salud pública, que requiere un diagnóstico adecuado y tratamiento.
