Espiritualidade e saúde: uma análise na abordagem didática e terapêutica dos docentes de fisioterapia da Universidade Federal da Paraíba.

The concept adopted in this paper, the integral health care means considering the human being consists of various dimensions, with particular attention to the spiritual dimension, responsible for giving the sense of life. This is strengthened greatly in treating with patients, because undeniably affects the way you treat your current condition of fragility and its relationship to disease. It affects, similarly, the look of the physiotherapist on the patient, significantly reshaping their intervention. The comprehensive approach which historically brought grounds for the practice of the physiotherapy is not meant only for the student in the academic process, but should also serve as a basis for the teacher to consider and promote the dimension of spirituality in their teaching and patient therapeutic intervention . This study aims to determine how teachers of physical therapy course at the Universidade Federal da Paraíba approach the spirituality in teaching practice and in the context of the physioherapy. For this, ten teachers were evaluated by questionnaire in order to profile socio-economic, religious, personal and family history and religious subjects. In a second phase an interview consists of questions prepared by the author was held. Integrated ground an observational and participatory experience through teaching stage.
