نبذة مختصرة : A practical model for developing systemic support for at scale TPD, combining open learning with support through local communities of practice within and between schools. The model was originally developed through 'English in Action' in Bangladesh (2008 - 2018) where it was used to develop iterations of the projects' approach to school-based teacher development from scales of hundreds, then thousands, then tens of thousands of teachers, over three successive phases. The model was initially used to help government stakeholders and other development partners think about how to incorporate mobile learning coherently with other characteristics of effective teacher development—and what people and resources could support this in the classroom, school, and wider educational system.
