نبذة مختصرة : This article is a synthesis of a dissertation of the Graduate Program in Education in Science and Mathematics (PPGECM) at the Federal University of Southern and Southeastern Pará (UNIFESSPA), which aimed to analyze the performance in mathematics of undergraduate students from ten cities in Pará in the Saeb 2021. This study focused on the analysis of only one of the ten cities analyzed in the dissertation, the city of Altamira-PA. In this way, this research proposal is justified because it is important and necessary to know the performance in mathematics of students in the municipality of Altamira, in order to carry out interventions, reflections, and provide subsidies for future studies, thus contributing in some way to improving the mathematical learning of students residing in the analyzed city. The research presents a method of qualitative approach and, regarding the objectives, it stands out as bibliographical research of the exploratory type. The results allowed understanding the performance in mathematics of students in the aforementioned city, revealing a performance far below expectations and, therefore, inadequate. ; Este artículo es una síntesis de una disertación del Programa de Posgrado en Educación en Ciencias y Matemáticas (PPGECM) de la Universidad Federal del Sur y Sudeste de Pará (UNIFESSPA), que tuvo como objetivo analizar el desempeño en matemáticas de estudiantes de graduación de diez ciudades de Pará en Saeb 2021.
