نبذة مختصرة : In our article, we seek to analyze traces of dissemination of information about the Modern Mathematics Movement in newspaper and magazine of the state of Mato Grosso during the 1970s. Considering newspapers and magazines as information channels that collaborated to the professionalism and professionalization of Mato Grosso teachers, we adopted the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Cultural History, such as Dominique Julia, for the interpretation of school culture, Burke for the analysis of orders of knowledge and, to approach the theme concerning professionalization and professionalism, we adopted Oliveira's referential. The news used in the article were found in the Hemeroteca Digital Brasileira. As a result, we found some initiatives of the Department of Education and Culture of the state of Mato Grosso, as well as the production of materials to train teachers for the demands of the period, such as the production of books and magazines specialized in Education prepared by the Department of Education and Culture itself, demarcating the presence of the Modern Mathematics Movement in the state of Mato Grosso. We identified the existence of specialization courses taught at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, by Professor Osvaldo Sangiorgi, which contributed to the teaching professionalism in the state of Mato Grosso in conformity with the legislation of the period. ; En nuestro artículo, buscamos analizar los rastros de la difusión de información sobre el Movimiento Matemático Moderno en periódicos y revistas del estado de Mato Grosso durante la década de 1970.
