      In order for digital pedagogy to be implemented and integrated at institutional level in schools in Hungary, the management of the institution also has a crucial role to play. Among other things, leadership style is key to the transformation efforts of different organisations (Dióssy et al., 2023). Although schools are specialised organisations, studying them and mapping the impact of their operations can help both the school and the public education system, as a whole (Serfőző, 2005). As Schüttler (2008) notes improving school leadership - and thus the school as an organisation - can be a well-returned investment in education. Related to this, the aim of the present empirical research was to investigate different areas of digital maturity and to explore organisational culture. Using the SELFIE and OCAI measurement tools, a study was conducted in the public education institutions of the Külső-Pesti Tankerületi Központ (School District Centre) (N=40). The results showed that, according to the perception of school leaders, some of the digital capability areas of the institutions can be considered as acceptable, but some of them need significant improvement. In terms of the relationship between leadership and areas of digital capability, we found that while leadership based on human relations favoured some areas of digital capability, a style that emphasised a regulatory focus showed negative correlations with several areas. Thus, the relationship between schools' leadership and their digital maturity was found to be a complex system, which requires further investigation. ; Ahhoz, hogy a digitális pedagógia intézményi szinten kerüljön implementálásra és integrálásra a hazai iskolákban, az intézményvezetésnek is meghatározó szerepe van.
