      Brojni su faktori koji utječu na duljinu studija. Većinom su oni individualni, vezani uz način života i prioritet pojedinca. No, ipak se pokazalo da su neki faktori univerzalni i ometajući ili poticajni za većinu studenata na PMF-u. To su godina rođenja, smjer diplomskog studija, smještaj, primanje stipendije, prosjek ocjena, ocjena s državne mature, zaposlenje tokom studija, stav o zaposlenju, plaćanje školarine, motivacija školarinom. Činjenica je da, osim zaposlenja, nijedan od navedenih čimbenika nije nabrojan od strane studenata kada su bili upitani o uzrocima neredovitog polaganja ispita. Neki od nabrojanih faktora su sasvim jasni i mogu se promatrati kao zavisne varijable ukoliko trajanje postavimo na poziciju nezavisne, no ostali nisu intuitivno jasni pa je testiranje ostavilo iznenađujuće rezultate. ; There are many factors that affect the length of the study. Most of them are individual, related to the way of life and the priority of the individual. However, it turned out that some factors are universal and disturbing or stimulating for most students on PMF. Those are the year of birth, the direction of graduate studies, accommodation, receiving scholarships, average mark, mark from state high school graduation, employment along the study, opinion about employment along the study as disturbing factor, tuition fee, motivation because of tuition fee. The fact is that, apart from work, none of these factors are listed by the students when they were asked about the causes of irregular examinations. Some of those factors are quite clear and can be seen as dependent variables if the duration is placed on the position of independent, but others are not intuitively clear, so the testing left a surprising results.
