Râzî-Muraḳḳa This manuscript is now IO Islamic 1638 in the India Office collections. [metadata: Hermann Ethé, Catalogue of Persian Manuscripts in the Library of the India Office, 2 vols. (Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1, number 486 here with notations and hyperlinks]. 1638 Mura ḳḳa ’ ( مُرَقّع ). Patchwork or scrap-book, a mystical mathnawî on the chief points of Ṣ ûfism, illustrated by short tales, somewhat in the style of Jalâl-aldîn Rûmi ’ s mathnawî, by the same ‘ Â ḳilkhân Râzî, beginning: (Pertsch Sprenger فى العمام ;) ايّها السّاقى اغثنى فى الغمام المنام الكرام (Pertsch and Sprenger الكاس ) من جرعة كاس (read اسقنى ) اشقنى Sarkhwush in his tadhkirah كلمات الشّعرا (see A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 111) says: ‘ it may be considered as a poetical version of the امواج خوبى , ’ but to what book does that title apply ? No date. The transcriber was Mîr Ibrâhîm Ḥ usain al ḥusainî. No. 486, ff. 156, 2 coll. each ll. 13; slightly injured and worm-eaten here and there; size, 8 7/8 in. by 5 in.
