نبذة مختصرة : To the left of the image is the Coe-Graham home, which was built around 1886 by Henry L. Coe. The home as located at 1518 First Avenue West (then 408 Marcy Street) right on the river. In 1902, it was purchased by John and Nina Graham. When John Graham, president of the Manatee Light and Traction Company, built Bradenton's first trolley system in 1903, it began right in front of the home and ran all the way to Fogartville. After the death of Nina Graham in 1931, the home was inherited by her sister Martha Griffith and then remained in their family until the death of Nina Griffith Washburn in 1972. In 1974, due to the development of a neighboring condominium complex, the home was relocated via barge to Snead Island at 4709 13th Street West, Palmetto. The home still stands as a private residence. To the right of the image is the 1915 Fuller House, which was located on the Manatee River at 1536 1st Avenue West, (then 418 Marcy Street). The home was built by H.W. Fuller and Julia Reasoner Fuller on the property adjacent to their previous home, a smaller cottage. The Fullers remained in the home until the mid 1920s, when they divorced. The residence was then home to the George B. Wallace family for two decades. In 1947, the home was sold to Max Cohen and remained in the Cohen family until 1968 when they sold the property to Don Miller Enterprises, a local developer. In 1972, the home was demolished to build River Oaks Condominiums, which still stand today. This postcard is courtesy of Manatee County Historical Records Library.
