نبذة مختصرة : This thesis is concerned with environmental and hydrogeological issues approached by geostatistical methods. The objectives of this study are to apply geostatistical tools (like variogram, kriging methods) to different hydrogeological parameters for mapping the data. The first part of the work is dedicated to presenting the geostatistical theory, giving more weight to those aspects (exploratory data analysis, indicator coding of information, using of secondary information) that play an important role in hydrogeological and environmental issues. Then, two hydrogeological and environmental issues, whose sites are all located in Veneto Region (Italy), are approached by using geostatistical methods. Case Study 1. Spatial distribution of Ground Water Temperature in Veneto Region The geostatistical methodology is applied to a groundwater Temperature case in an area situated near Padova (northeast Italy). The analysis of 145 ground water temperature measurements, ranging between 10°C and 17°C, and of 100 meters in depth. This pattern in the spatial distribution of temperatures to some extent seems related to the structural framework of the area and should be taken into account when quantifying spatial distribution of temperature. Geoatatistical tools including Ordinary Kriging and Indicator kriging are applied for ground water temperature values. Case study 2. Spatial distribution of Chlorine in the Geothermal Euganean field The Euganean geothermal reservoir is principally located in fractured Mesozoic limestone. The analysis of 19 ground water Chlorine measurements, 200 meters in depth, ranging between 1410 mg/l and 2750 mg/l, reveals that the spatial distribution of Chlorine along the geothermal area is characterized by some degree of spatial continuity. Ground water Temperature measurement ranged between 60°C and 86°C. Finally, results are presented and discussed for Ordinary Kriging and Cokriging. ; In questa tesi vengono affrontate una serie di problematiche di tipo idrogeologico ed ambientale secondo la ...
