Books, graphs and conflicts: the challenge with reading bar graphs in Free Textbooks ; Libros, gráficas y conflictos: el reto con la lectura de gráficas de barras en los Libros de Texto Gratuitos

The purpose of this article is to present and to analyze the coherence of textbook contents at COVID-19 pandemic. In Mexico, these books have been distributed mandatory and free in elementary school by the CONALITEG. We consult the exercises of bar graphs of the generation of textbooks Desafíos matemáticos in force during the first year of pandemic, starting that the students, in study programs, should know read this graphs; nevertheless, we identify that not have a coherent relation between of expected learning at programs with the contents and presented exercises in textbooks. To work, we consult Eugenio Lizarde, questioning if at the end of elementary school, the children are ready for interpret and analyze the statistic information that was presented daily about the COVID-19 pandemic. ; El presente artículo tiene como objetivo presentar y analizar la pertinencia de los contenidos de los libros de texto durante la pandemia por COVID-19. En México, estos han sido distribuidos de manera obligatoria y gratuita en las escuelas primarias por la CONALITEG. Consultamos los ejercicios de gráficas de barras de la generación de libros de texto de Desafíos matemáticos que estuvo vigente durante el primer año de la pandemia, partiendo que las y los alumnos, en los programas de estudios, deben saber leer este tipo de gráficas; no obstante, identificamos que no existe una relación coherente entre los aprendizajes esperados con los contenidos y ejercicios presentados en los libros de texto. Para trabajar, consultamos a Eugenio Lizarde, cuestionando si al concluir la educación primaria, las y los niños están preparados para interpretar y analizar la información estadística que se presentaba a diario sobre la pandemia por COVID-19.
