      Socially, we know that there are projects around the world that often, inefficiently, try to work together to promote the social, economic and personal equality of people with disabilities. Despite the constant investment of the government and society in general, we know that the insertion of people with special needs has been a continuous and hard work even today, especially considering the school context. This study aimed to identify the interactions between students with hearing impairment, regular teachers and educational interpreter during some classes, as well as the strategies used by the interpreter in order to minimize the distance between students and the teaching and learning process in high school. For this, class accompaniments were conducted in order to better understand such interactions, with a central focus on the relationship between the educational interpreter and deaf students. In addition, a questionnaire was applied to the interpreter to identify their position regarding the inclusion of these students in the real context of the school. In general, there were few moments of interaction between regular teachers and students with hearing impairment, especially those of the exact ones, highlighting the need for a joint work between them and the educational interpreter, or even possibilities for their qualification and training continued focusing on Special Education. On the other hand, the interactions between the interpreter and the students surpassed the school context. In addition to seeking alternatives to approximate the contents taught and their understanding, especially in evaluations, friendship and respect relationships were clear.
