      Purpose: The main objective of this article is to deepen the challenges and impacts that technology and industry bring to Brazilian education. Methodology/Approach: The proposed methodology is qualitative bibliographic research. Findings: Industry 4.0 has brought a new reality to the labor market and labor relations, requiring professionals to constantly update their knowledge and skills. The covid-19 pandemic further aggravated this situation, affecting Brazilian education and highlighting the deficiencies of the educational system in relation to technological infrastructure and teacher training. To overcome these challenges, it is necessary to invest in technological infrastructure, teacher training and updating of school curricula. In addition, it is possible to explore solutions such as partnerships between universities and companies, active teaching and learning methodologies and incentives for research and innovation. Research Limitation/implication: The text makes a brief approach to the advancement of education throughout history, challenges of education in the digital age and its impact on the reality experienced by students. Originality/Value of paper: this new educational model has a leading role in the current education scenario and the resistance to new teaching measures on the part of institutions and their authors. ; Objetivo: O objetivo principal deste artigo é aprofundar os desafios e impactos que a tecnologia e a indústria trazem para a educação brasileira. Metodologia/Abordagem: A metodologia proposta consiste em uma pesquisa bibliográfica qualitativa. Constatações: A Indústria 4.0 trouxe uma nova realidade ao mercado de trabalho e às relações trabalhistas, exigindo dos profissionais atualização constante de conhecimentos e competências. A pandemia da covid-19 agravou ainda mais esta situação, afetando a educação brasileira e evidenciando as deficiências do sistema educacional em relação à infraestrutura tecnológica e à formação de professores.
