O advento da Lei n. 11.340/06 evidencia marco novo no desenvolvimento do Direito brasileiro quanto ao reconhecimento e proteção dos Direitos Humanos das Mulheres vitimadas pela violência perpetrada por aqueles com os quais mantêm relações íntimas de afeto e convivência. Com alterações no Código Penal e no Código de Processo Penal, permite-se hoje aos agentes de Direito punir agressores domésticos e devidamente reeducá-los. ; The advent of the Act n. 11.340/06 is a new mark of the development, in the Brazilian law, of the recognize and protection of Human Rights of the women victimated by the violence commited by those who they have close relationships of affection and coexistence. The changes in the criminal law and in the criminal procedural law allow the authorities to punish and to reeducate these domestic agressors.
