Análise a reportagem 'A metástase - O assassinato de Marielle Franco e os avanços das milícias no Rio'. ; Journalistic narrative in the construction of meanings. Analysis of the report 'Metastasis - The murder of Marielle Franco and the advances of militias in Rio'.

This research is dedicated to the study of the journalistic narrative, through the analysis of the report “The Metastasis - The murder of Marielle Franco and the advances of the militias in Rio”, published in March 2019, in Piauí magazine. For that, the story of Marielle Franco is presented; the editorial features of Piauí magazine are discussed; and, in addition, there are authors who discuss of narrative and journalistic narrative. The general objective of this research is to understand how the use of language aspects specific to the journalistic text, collaborates for a narrative of construction of meanings, as well as to analyze and present the main points that make up the journalistic narrative. This study is characterized as a qualitative, documentary and exploratory research. The methodological path chosen to achieve the objectives was the pragmatic analysis of the journalistic narrative, based on the proposal of Luiz Gonzaga Motta (2005). To this end, we sought to point out in the report “The Metastasis” the strategies used by the narrator for the narrative construction, following analysis criteria defined by Motta (2005). This study allowed us to understand how the construction of meanings took place through the narrative. In addition, it was possible to notice the existence of several textual constructions that cooperated so that the narrative was idealized by its narrator.
