La construcción de la comicidad en la escritura dramática contemporánea en Colombia. Estudios de caso

The present work proposes a model of analysis of dramatic texts which emphasizes on the study of the comic genre, taking as a reference Colombia’s contemporary comic drama. For this, a brief historical review of the concept of genre and comedy, as conceptual basis is carried out. The focus of this research is on dramatic literature, comic or otherwise, taking into consideration the contributions of the theory and history of literature, the visions of philosophy, psychology and social sciences, around comedy, its evolution, historiography and purposes. Subsequently, we present a proposal for the reading, analysis and interpretation of dramatic texts that consists of two parts, a first one, of a general nature applicable to any text, and a second, more focused on the comic elements of the text, from which a model of analysis is derived. This model is applied to a group of ten comic texts written in Colombia in the 21st century; texts which are considered differential and representative of the chosen period. As a result, from the development of this systematic analysis: the literary, dramaturgical keys and trends that inform comedy writing in the context of the most current Colombian theatre, are expected to be obtained. As a final result, this research aims to provide a generic approach for the analysis of dramatic texts, which can also expound on the formal, stylistic and content based keys of comedy, and to show some of the directions taken by Colombian dramatic and theatrical creation today.
