نبذة مختصرة : Summary: The article reports on the state of affairs of the social and solidarity economy before the Covid-19 in Argentina, analyzes the public policies implemented for it and the initiatives deployed by the actors of this universe in the framework of the pandemic. Lessons are also identified about the role of social and solidarity economy initiatives in this context and the contribution to development and social inclusion. The article is descriptive and explanatory. The methodology is qualitative. The research techniques used consisted of interviews and surveys of primary and secondary sources. The results of the article show that the State deploys various instruments to deal with Covid-19 and that the sector has the capacity for innovation and productive reconversion, coordination between actors, providing territorial assistance and participating in public policies. ; Resumen: El artículo da cuenta del estado de la situación de la economía social y solidaria ante el Covid-19 en Argentina; analiza las políticas públicas implementadas para esta y las iniciativas que desplegaron los actores de este universo en el marco de la pandemia. También se identifican aprendizajes sobre el papel de las iniciativas de la economía social y solidaria en este contexto y la contribución al desarrollo y a la inclusión social. El artículo es de carácter descriptivo y explicativo. La metodología es cualitativa. Las técnicas de investigación utilizadas consistieron en entrevistas y relevamientos de fuentes primarias y secundarias. Los resultados del artículo muestran que el Estado despliega diversos instrumentos para hacer frente al Covid-19 y que el sector presenta capacidad de innovación y reconversión productiva, articulación entre actores y brinda asistencia territorial y participa en políticas públicas.
