نبذة مختصرة : Onosma safaie-fari (in subsect. Asterotricha) is described and introduced as new species from Kurdistan province. O. safaie-fari morphological similar to O. qandilica, however, it is seperated by sterile shoot and cauline leaves shape; fruiting calyx length, calyx lobes shape and width, corolla length, corolla color and anthers length. Also Onosma safaie-fari closed to O. bisotunensis but it is differentiated by sterile shoot and cauline leaves shape, lower bract shape and length; length of fruiting calyx; corolla color and length; free part of filaments length, position of filaments arising from corolla and anthers length.
