In the current context of humanity’s evolution, several transformations and changes are presented to us in the most different aspects, mainly driven by the digital environment. In this way, several authors have pointed out the need and priority to expand research on the most different perspectives, around the teaching and learning process linked to the use of technologies. In this sense, this article sought to analyze the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) linked to the preservation and dissemination of Brazilian popular culture in education. To this end, bibliographical and documentary research was used, with a qualitative approach, in which the collected data were analyzed in a critical and interpretative manner. It was evident through this scientific investigation that TDICs can be fundamental artifacts both for the preservation and dissemination of all knowledge, including popular culture. Furthermore, making it possible to (re)discover new and other practices that can enhance Brazilian popular culture in the educational sphere. ; No contexto atual da história de evolução da humanidade, várias transformações e mudanças nos são apresentadas acerca dos mais diferentes aspectos, principalmente impulsionados pelo meio digital. Dessa forma, vários autores têm apontado a necessidade e prioridade de ampliar as pesquisas sobre as mais diferentes perspectivas, em torno do processo de ensino e aprendizagem atrelados ao uso de tecnologias. Nesse sentido, buscou-se, por meio deste artigo, analisar o uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC), atreladas à preservação e difusão da cultura popular brasileira no campo educacional.
