نبذة مختصرة : Aphasia is a disorder that can be found in adults but which can also affect younger people, including adolescents.Adolescence is an important developmental time as it is accompanied by many changes: academic, professional, identity, social and emotional changes for instance. Taking care of these patients therefore involves many challenges and speech therapists are key players. Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) can be an effective way of supporting these teenagers and their families, to help them better understand this disorder, but also to improve their quality of life and enhance their autonomy. We carried out semi-structured interviews with five speech therapists who had treated teenagers diagnosed with aphasia. The aim of these interviews was to assess the value of TPE with these patients, discuss their practice, list the elements that would help creating useful teaching material and gather their needs. Speech therapists deplore the lack of existing resources and tools for adolescent aphasia and for children altogether. TPE is not specifically practiced due to a lack of knowledge and resources. Speech therapists do, however, indicate that they have an interventional approach, which can be likened to TPE, whose aim is to put the patient at the heart of their care. Finally, many shortcomings in the available tools were noted. To conclude, adolescent aphasia care requires a personalized approach tailored to each patient. Speech-language pathologists play a crucial role in helping these patients live as normally as possible, thanks to TPE and educational tools. Information and tools are essential. Speech therapists suggested parameters they felt were relevant. These elements could be used in another study to create a tool. ; L’aphasie est un trouble qui peut être retrouvé chez l’adulte, mais qui peut aussi affecter les plus jeunes, dont les adolescents.
