نبذة مختصرة : In this work, the perception and social representations of students and teachers about the teaching and learning processes mediated by ICT were investigated in a “forced†virtual modality precipitated by an exceptional context such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic. For this, students and teachers from the University of José C. Paz, located in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, were taken as a case study during the period of Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation (ASPO) in the period 2020-2021. Interviews were carried out with a non-probabilistic sample composed of 4 teachers and 13 students of the Computer Seminar subject. Among the main results of this work, it stands out that for both groups, distance education has implied a great challenge. Teachers had to modify their traditional role, which in many cases was linked to a loss of an identity built from their own professional training process and which in some cases meant a negative perception of this modality, with manifestations of distrust and resistance to change. and a certain longing for traditional in-person education. The same representation emerged in the group of students who generally had a view of the total experience as stressful and of great uncertainty. ; En el presente trabajo se indagó en la percepción y representaciones sociales de alumnos y docentes sobre los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje mediados por las TIC en una modalidad virtual “forzada†y precipitada por un contexto excepcional como fue la reciente pandemia de COVID-19.
