      This research delivers an approach concerning pedagogue’s different possibilities of action beyond school context. It focuses on the pedagogue’s intervention in corporative environments since such a professional can contribute to employees’ continuing education, mainly in training and development sector, related to the human resources area. Taking into account that companies have reserved special value to human capital by investing in the development of their employees’ skills, this research contextualizes the pedagogue’s expected profile and how his academic background can contribute to employees’ meaningful learning, in order to achieve a balance between company’s aims and workers’ aspirations. Nowadays, one notices that companies expect a behavioral and attitudinal change of their workers and, for that reason, the research has considered how the pedagogue can help to the efficacy of such a process. Our discussion has brought to the fore opinions about the relevance of corporative universities in the enhancement process of crucial skills and attitudes to the execution of professional activities. Such a discussion points out possibilities to expand the pedagogue’s action. We also expose the main dilemmas connected to corporative universities, a topic barely explored by the Brazilian academia and that, contradictorily, remains in the order of the day. ; Esta pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem a respeito de outras possibilidades de atuação do profissional pedagogo fora do contexto escolar, tendo como objetivo analisar sua contribuição na formação contínua de colaboradores, especificamente no setor de treinamento e desenvolvimento, na área de recursos humanos.
