      The aim of this study was to analyze the Brazilian scientific production regarding Music Education in group with elderly individuals in Brazil, based on the enactment of the Elderly Statute (Lei federal nº 10.741/03). A scoping review was conducted by searching the databases of CAPES, ERIC, Redalyc, Scielo, Lilacs, ABEM, Amplificar, and Google Scholar, starting from 2003, the year of the statute's creation. The following descriptors were used in all databases: "Music Education," "Elderly," "Teaching Music," "Music Training," "Music," along with the boolean operators OR and AND. The general characteristics, such as locations, methods, interventions, and objectives, were analyzed, along with the quantitative word count using the software Iramuteq for the most frequently used words and the activities conducted. The searches returned 9,877 studies, out of which 24 were selected, including articles, dissertations, and undergraduate theses focused on Music Education for elderly individuals in Brazil. Through the word count, analysis of the research characteristics, and examination of the conducted activities, it was found that the majority of these studies are empirical, qualitative, involving field interventions and observations, and were predominantly conducted (79.17%) in the southeastern region of the country. The results indicated a positive influence of musical learning on the quality of life of elderly individuals, demonstrating cognitive and emotional benefits, as well as highlighting the need for further studies on the subject. ; El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la producción científica brasileña sobre Educación Musical em grupo con personas mayores en Brazil, a partir de la entrada en vigor del Estatuto del Anciano(Lei federal nº 10.741/03).
