Geographical Information Systems in Environmental Vulnerability Analyzes of Ceará River Basin ; SISTEMAS DE INFORMAÇÕES GEOGRÁFICAS NA ANÁLISE DA VULNERABILIDADE AMBIENTAL DA BACIA DO RIO CEARÁ-CE

With the advancement of the micro informatics, geoprocessing techniques have been implanted in Geographic InformationSystems – GIS, which increased the spatial analysis capability. The present article discusses some of the relationsbetween the techniques implemented in the GIS and the geosystemic method of landscape analysis. To that end, it ispresented a technical-methodological path used in the analysis of the environmental vulnerability of the Ceará Riverdrainage basin – CE, which currently goes through significant environmental changes. ; Com o avanço da microinformática, técnicas de geoprocessamento foram implementadas em Sistemas de InformaçõesGeográficas - SIG, fato que ampliou a capacidade de análise espacial. Este artigo discute algumas das relações existentesentre as técnicas implementadas nos SIG’s e o método geossistêmico de análise da paisagem. Para tanto, apresenta-sepercusso técnico-metodológico adotado na análise da vulnerabilidade ambiental da bacia do Rio Ceará – CE, a qualpassa por mudanças ambientais significativas.
