      Abstrct: Every country is choosing the different education policy by considering the tradition and culture of the country. In India, the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) was announced by the Government of India. This NEP will be impacting school education and higher education equally. This paper mainly focuses on NEP 2020 and its merits and demerits for higher education.
