نبذة مختصرة : Education is one of the most relevant aspects of social life, as the interest of public and private entities in its control demonstrate. With this, the idea of educational agents appears, a figure that has usually been related to the environment closest to the subject, the family, and then extrapolated to suprafamilial entities, such as school or state. The presence of even more external influences evident among current educational agents, forces us to pay attention to the impact they have on the evolution and training of children and teenagers. Since almost its appearance, different organizations linked with communication have been aware that the power of the media goes beyond entertainment. However, the paradigm shift from a public or social space, typical of radio and televisión, to a private one, as social networks, leads us to ask ourselves if we are aware of the real impact that these communication tools have on their users, especially but not exclusively in the youngest ones . In this work, we will try to review not only the concern related to the control of the media, but also the need to pay attention to this new phenomenon from the rest of the educational agents, due to its relevance in behavior and the constitution of a new social reality that affects us all.
