      The aim of this study is to "develop, suggest, and analyze activities to be applied in the classroom that involve Financial Mathematics content, aiming at awareness around the use of money and how Financial Mathematics contributes to daily life". To achieve this, the general objective was subdivided into the following specific objectives: I - Identify students' prior knowledge of Financial Mathematics according to their educational level; II - Propose activities with problem situations and contextualization of Financial Education; and III - Analyze the proposed activities in a didactic sequence.Therefore, a basic research approach was adopted methodologically, qualitative, exploratory research, and, regarding the procedures, an experimental research with bibliographic review of 48 authors, from 54 works, dated between 1996 and 2023. To provide a sample of local reality, three types of questionnaires were used, one virtual for adults, one virtual for adolescents, and one physical, printed, for adolescents. The questionnaire was answered by 25 people in March, applied through Google Forms and manually. In addition to the questionnaires, two didactic works adopted in the municipalities of Rio Tinto and Mamanguape were analyzed, and a didactic sequence was proposed that is aligned with the responses from the questionnaires and can complement one of the didactic books that address the content of Financial Mathematics. Then, the elaborated didactic sequence was analyzed, and possible variations were shown to which the sequence can be subjected. As a contribution, this research promotes debate within the academic community about the need to update readers, organs, and institutions that collect, produce, or consume reflections on Financial Education and local reality.
