      Acompanha: Contador_Jr: um jogo para aprender contabilidade brincando ; Classroom experience and observations show that lectures are no longer sufficient to contribute to the teaching of accounting. One of the possibilities is the use of board games as a tool to help this process. For this, one must overcome traditional teaching methods and seek ways to engage and mobilize students in educational activities, creating a better environment every day. In addition, active methodologies are one of the possible ways to stimulate students' interest in the teaching and learning process. The objective of this work is to analyze the contributions of the use of the board game Contador_Jr to the teaching of basic accounting. To support the data analysis, the following aspects were treated: active methodology, games in education, board game and accounting. The methodology used is of an interpretative qualitative nature and for the analysis of the data, the qualitative analytical analysis was used. The results obtained indicate that active methodologies are different forms of learning and determinant for teachers to have greater engagement, expanding student development and protagonism through active participation in their classes and that the Contador_Jr board game has as its main feature a viable alternative to assist in teaching and building knowledge of accounting concepts and techniques in a challenging, but applicable, simple, easy, fun, dynamic and practical way. Therefore, it can be inferred that the use of the board game Contador_Jr has possibilities of being used in the context of teaching basic accounting, contributing to the teaching and learning process of teachers and students. ; A experiência em sala de aula e as observações mostram que as aulas expositivas não são mais suficientes para contribuir com o ensino de Contabilidade.
