Therefore, the research on the laboratory tests used in diagnosing preeclampsia in juvenile pregnancy aimed at specifying which laboratory testing is used in diagnosing preeclampsia in adolescent pregnant women at the Riobamba General Educational Hospital. Therefore, this work used a correlational, non-experimental field, retrospective, and transversal descriptive methodology with a quantitative approach. A matrix in Excel was used for data handling. The study population included 153 patients, of whom 20 adolescent women under 19 years of age who were pregnant with symptoms of preeclampsia were selected.
