نبذة مختصرة : Objectives of the study: Describe the practice of midwives in neonatal resuscitation in type 1, 2A, 2B and 3 of maternities hospital in the Bouches-du-Rhône department and identify their training needs.Materials and Method: This study is a prospective, descriptive and multicentre study. The data collection was collected via an online questionnaire distributed to the midwives from July 2018 to January 2019.Results: Although most of the 106 midwives interviewed indicated that they rarely do neonatal resuscitation, level 3 midwives were more commonly confronted with neonatal resuscitation than the others levels. Higher the frequency of resuscitation wass, more comfortable the professional was. At the end of their initial training, midwives who received high-fidelity simulation sessions felt more prepared to take on neonatal resuscitation than others. All of them think it necessary to set up more regular continuing training courses. The majority opted for training by high-fidelity simulation.Conclusion: The study showed that practice was essential to the development of a competence. Without forget the theoretical knowledge, it’s really necessary continue to improve the access and the regularity of continuing training for midwives. This is an essential point to optimal care of neonatal resuscitation. ; Objectifs de l’étude : Décrire la pratique des sages-femmes en réanimation néonatale dans les maternités de type 1, 2A, 2B et 3 du département des Bouches-Du-Rhône et identifier leurs besoins de formation.Matériels et Méthode : L’étude menée est une étude prospective, descriptive et multicentrique.
