      Whereas there are, several ways for music making in the educational context, and many possibilities of learning resources that teachers can use to work the musical subject. The aim of this work is to present and discuss the prospects of undergraduate students in music about the use of Musical games as a methodological resource in the context of basic education, taking as reference their teaching experiences in this educational context. The adopted methodology refers to mixed methods. To collect data it was applied a survey with students of the Bachelor's Degree in Music at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, aiming to profile these undergraduate students and to understand their views on using the music game as a teaching resource. For the analysis of questionnaire data, used the method of content analysis championed by Bardin (2011). The survey results revealed that all undergraduate participants had already resorted to the use of musical games as a tool to work with music in the classroom, that due to the characteristics that make them so attractive games for students, allowing the teacher to achieve the goals smoothly. From the interviews, we understand that the use of music games in the regular school context enables significant results in the teaching / learning process for the students. For that, this resource should be inserted in class by the teacher correctly, from a well-defined planning ahead, otherwise the music game would be characterized as a hobby defends the respondents. ; Considerando as diversas maneiras para o desenvolvimento do fazer musical no contexto educacional, variadas também são as possibilidades de recursos didáticos que o professor pode utilizar para trabalhar os conteúdos musicais.
