The paper reflexions about land, coloniality and the indigenous from José Carlos Mariátegui work. Moving from what he calls the “Conquest original sin” his research about deep Perú translates in a radical critic of modernity: from capitalism in the peripheral countries to the state; from the burgees subjectivity to the national culture; from the idea of progress and a lineal time to the abstract and secular rationalism. In the intersectionbetween politics and culture, the indo-american socialism that Mariátegui points, inspires and foresees lots of intuitions that we find today in decolonial perspectives and in some reflections about good living and communality. ; El artículo entiende reflexionar sobre la tierra, la colonialidad y lo indígena a partir de la obra de José Carlos Mariátegui. Moviendo de lo que llama el “pecado original de la Conquista” su investigación del Perú profundo se traduce en una crítica radical de la modernidad: del capitalismo en los países “periféricos” a lo estatal; de la subjetividad burgués a la cultura nacional; de la idea del progreso y de un tiempo lineal al racionalismo abstracto y laico. En la intersección entre política y cultura, el socialismo indo-americano hacia el que se orienta Mariátegui se nutre de –y anticipa- muchas intuiciones que rencontramos hoy en las perspectivas descoloniales o en algunas reflexiones en torno al buen vivir y a la comunalidad.
