      Millennials are a group of people who have a certain degree of affinity, who make them different in some aspects and in the different contexts where they live, certain behaviors that make them unique, capable of imposing their lifestyle in all instances. The objective was to identify the factors that promote the decision of permanence and desertion of the Millennials generation in the organizations in Medellín. The research presented is descriptive and case study, with a mixed research approach. A review is made in specialized databases through a construct with a search equation, allowing the extraction of a first system of eight categories or variables (8) from the theoretical framework, which was evaluated with a Delphi technique by five (5) experts, later this second system is made up of four categories or variables (4): work environment, motivation, quality of life, opportunities, technologies and digitization. Each category is expanded with subcategories with theoretical references. The above is the basis for obtaining information in a structured survey using nineteen (19) Likert scale questions, where one hundred and nine (109) millennials who work in organizations responded through google forms. The analysis was done through basic statistics where each question is asked through population segments. Finally, the final results apply a hermeneutic to each category. ; Los Millennials son un grupo de personas que tienen cierto grado de afinidad, que los hacen diferentes en algunos aspectos y en los distintos contextos donde habitan, ciertos comportamientos que los hacen únicos, capaz de imponer su estilo de vida en todas las instancias. El objetivo fue identificar los factores que promueven la decisión de permanencia y deserción de la generación Millennials en las organizaciones en Medellín.
