نبذة مختصرة : The work of stylist Coco Chanel was the subject of several publications and films in 2009. Thinking of design as a reflection of social behaviors, this work aims to analyze how the retro style that has permeated creations in fashion, furniture and even in the automotive industry and used in product advertising, it can also be perceived as a manifestation of society that turns to the search for traditions of yore. ; O trabalho da estilista Coco Chanel foi tema de diversas publicações e filmes no ano de 2009. Pensando no design como reflexo de comportamentos sociais, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar como o estilo retrô que vem permeando criações da moda, do mobiliário e, até mesmo na indústria automotiva e utilizado na publicidade dos produtos, pode ser percebido também como uma manifestação da sociedade que se volta para a busca de tradições de outrora.
