This theoretical work presents a study aimed at exploring the role of illustrations in children's books in helping them overcome or experience fear. Fear is a universal phenomenon in a child's psychological life that can lead to serious psychological problems later on. Illustrations in children's books can help children understand their emotions and gain courage and inspiration. They can also have a therapeutic effect and contribute to a child's mental well-being. The goal of the study is to reveal the peculiarities of fear motifs in illustrations for children's books.
