Contém aplicação com o projeto apenas consultável na Biblioteca da Faculdade de Belas-Artes ; Every day, the oceans face various hazards that threaten the health and well-being of aquatic species. As the oceans occupy a large portion of the planet, they naturally serve as a habitat for a large amount of biodiversity that is up to us to preserve. For this reason, ecological education must also involve the oceans. In the Portuguese educational games market, there is still not much to offer when it comes to aquatic biodiversity on the Portuguese coast, so this project turns out to be relevant and serves as a guide for the future development of the area. The project contains the interactive script and game design, intended for the education of children from 7 to 10 years old. It was created through characters and mini games that illustrate in a simplified way some of the existing problems and some more positive solutions that are already being implemented. The game developed on behalf of this project could serve the purpose of disseminating knowledge about the aquatic animals that inhabit the Portuguese coast; what responsible attitudes we can take to help maintain healthy waters; behaviours to avoid and what measures have already been implemented to guarantee the quality of these habitats. However, there are some improvements to be made, as it will be necessary in future to test the game with the target audience and then to implement the received feedback in a newer prototype.
