      In this research, we propose to analyze the reconfigurations of the will to truth about the death of women in the discontinuity of history in discursive events of rupture and the production of subjectivities for the victim of femicide in contemporary times. As specific objectives of this thesis, we will analyze how the practice of femicide in the domestic space constitutes a punishment for women's resistance to the modes of subjection to Patriarchal Power in intimate relationships of affection. We will discuss the functioning of a device to confront violence against women in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, which constitutes the object of femicide in Brazil. And finally, we will analyze the truth wills that constitute the verdicts on the death of women in the discursive events “death of Ângela Diniz” and “death of Tatiane Spitzner”. The corpus of this research was selected from the archive that deals with violence against women in Brazil and specifically, the death of women by their partigoners in the domestic space. Verbal-visual utterances materialized in legal and media discursive practices related to the discursivization of two events were chosen: the “death of Ângela Diniz” (1976) and the “death of Tatiane Spitzner” (2018). As for the methodology, we used a descriptive-interpretative approach associated with the archaeogenealogical method. For the analysis of the corpus, we will mobilize the following Foucauldian concepts: discourse, statement, archive, event, truth, discursive formation, historical a priori, device, power, body, space, heterotopia, resistance and subjectivation processes. In addition, we use as theoretical support the History of Women in Brazil (DEL PRIORE; D'INCAO; PINSKY), the History of Emotions (COURTINE; CORBIN; VIGARELLO), and the Studies of Gender Violence (SEGATO; SAFIOTTI; ELUF).
